You just received a recall notice in the mail from the manufacturer, but what does that mean?

When a company announces a recall, it means they have discovered an issue with the product that needs to be repaired.  When it comes to your automobile, it can sometimes sound intense and the call to action can create an immediate desire to panic, but the best thing to do is remain calm and take the following steps:


1.      Visit our website to find information about recalls.
  • 2.     You will find this information under the Service drop-down menu.
  • You will need to have your vehicle identification number (VIN).
  • 3.     The best way to check is to enter your VIN because any recalls will be issued to specific to the specific details held in that vehicle identification number.
  • 4.     Once you have selected and then clicked search, any open recalls will be displayed.
