Our Last Employee Lunch as Performance BMW

Facilities Manager Chet Wetherington grilling in the snow

This month’s luncheon was a wonderful time, but also a little bittersweet since was our last luncheon as Performance BMW.  April 9th, we will change our name to BMW of Southpoint and join our fellow Hendrick Family at the Streets at Southpoint. This new move is exciting, but many of the people here have called Performance BMW home for over 25 years.

Chet Wetherington, facilities manager, did not let the snow dampen our barbeque, he grilled yummy burgers under a tent outside while the snow fell around him.  We also had barbeque by LC and lots of sides with cake and cookies to celebrate our March birthdays.

Technician Dennis Morrill was honored and for his 25 Years of Service.  We also had 15 Promise Keepers, team members who go above and beyond their daily duties to help their fellow teammates and our clients.  The excitement is always there when everyone waits for Gerald fo pull the winning raffle ticket number so they can get a chance to spin the wheel to win money.  This month, Michael Robinson won the grand prize and it couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Our monthly luncheons are a way for us to come together and share laughs, say hello, and take time out our busy days to have fun for an hour.  We look forward to taking that tradition to our new location at Southpoint.
