2019 BMW M3 CS in Durham

The 2019 BMW M3 CS Will Debut in Late 2018

The 2018 BMW M3 CS was the first time that a four-door sports car from the brand sported the "CS" name (which makes sense, considering that CS stands for Coupe Sport)--but when the CS and CSL monikers began to be synonymous with top track performance, BMW began to branch out. There will be an all-new M3 CS debuting fall/winter 2018 alongside the rest of the all-new BMW 3 Series and M3 line. Trim level and package option information is not yet available for the new model.

Interior Features

Since the release of an all-new BMW 3 Series line is quite a big deal, BMW is understandably keeping things tightly under wraps. Last year's BMW M3 CS model, though, offered stylish and luxurious interior features like two-tone Silverstone/Black Merino leather upholstery, Alcantara trim, and CS-specific interior accents and detailing--and we're likely to see similar options in the new 2019 model.

Exterior Styling: Under Wraps

The 2019 BMW M3 CS will move to the brand's innovative new CLAR architecture, which will make the new 2019 model lighter than the previous generation by quite a few pounds. A contoured carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) roof will likely carry over, along with quad stainless-steel tailpipes and an exclusive M sport exhaust system.

2019 BMW M3 CS Specs: Coming Soon

BMW's twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine will likely carry over to the all-new 2019 M3 CS. Last year's model was good for 453 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque, but we know that the next-gen sports car will be even more powerful. The 2018 model experienced virtually no turbo lag, and we can expect the same from the upcoming 2019 BMW M3 CS--the previous generation also offered no manual, with a dual-clutch automatic transmission only. We'll likely see similar for 2019, with track-ready equipment like carbon-ceramic brakes offered standard or as an option.

Expert Technology and Driver Assistance

A feature list isn't yet available, but you'll likely see Bluetooth and smartphone integration systems as standard, alongside a premium sound system and BMW Navigation system--both of which were offered standard on last year's model. We can expect to even see some safety features like Head-up Display, Park Distance Control, Rearview Camera, an d Adaptive Full LED Lights in the upcoming 2019 BMW M3 CS.
