One area of financing that leaves people with a lot of questions is the auto leasing programs we have here. From which is better, leasing or buying, to negotiating the terms of lease plans, we can help you every step of the way.

When it comes toward the end of your lease period, there are a few things you should know. Here, we give you a quick rundown of the steps involved in returning your lease.

Returning Your Lease Options and Steps

At the end of your lease you have a couple options available to you. First, if you love the car and can't live without it, you can negotiate a sale with our sales team and keep the car. Second, you can trade it in and either lease another new model, or switch gears and purchase a new car.

If you decide to return the leased vehicle, there are a couple of steps involved, including:

  • Gather up everything that came with the car, including extra keys and accessories. Everything you got with the car at the start of the lease must be returned at the end of the lease.
  • Prepare for inspection. The car will be looked over for any damage beyond normal wear and tear. This includes worn tires and excess dings and scratches.
