Can’t say enough great things about James and the BMW of Southpoint team regarding the entire buying process from start to finish. If you’re looking for someone who has great knowledge of the brand and models including technology, highly recommend James who combines this with excellent communication before, during, and after the sale. I am not one who normally does reviews but this warranted the positive comments listed above.
Cars are nice people are nice free coffee is a plus. Sam from the sales department helped me with my purchase. It was really nice. He made the process easy, and it felt like I’ve known him for years. No hard sells, a lot of product knowledge and made it very easy for me and my wife. I would recommend asking for Sam when you go. I could not ask for more. In a world of entitlement, it was a pleasure to work with him.
My wife and I have done business with several dealerships in the Hendrick auto family. We have done business with Hendrick Toyota of Cary, Hendrick Chevrolet of Cary, Hendrick Lexus of Charlotte, and Hendrick Mercedes in Durham. I appreciate this Hendricks group dealership for support after the sale. I had an excellent experience purchasing a Tesla from this dealership recently. Chance Sanford, the dealer I worked with, was very friendly, personable, down to earth, knowledgeable, and straight forward. He was very honest and never tried to avoid or side-step the hard questions. This was the first time I’ve ever felt relaxed during a car buying experience. I was very impressed and will consider buying more vehicles from this dealership in the future.
Robert in service is fantastic. My wife inadvertently scheduled a drop off appt instead of a waiting appt, and he took care of me anyway. We chatted about cars and BMW EVs, and now I think I need to buy one! I'm used to Kia service - BMW is light years better. They sent a video of the service as well which is brilliant.

I have driven BMWs for over 40 years and always had good service until recently. My car diagnosis was that my motor needed to be replaced. The service personnel gave me an outrageous cost, $27k to replace it and I felt like this was to push me into buying a new car. He offered to buy my 2014 328i GT for $500-$1000. This was a slack in the face to me. I told him if I bought a new car it would not be from Hendricks. Otherwise I have had good service in the past.

Appt time was not met, car was not charged after service, and it took 18 minutes for my car to be delivered.
We purchased a used 330i at BMW of Southpoint and are extremely pleased with the service and care provided by Curtis, Shawn, Kevin and Stacie. Despite a very tricky situation around the financing of the car, thanks to Stacie from the finance office, we were able to get it squared away in a fair and professional matter. Buyer Beware! BMW Southpoint will post inaccurate prices and descriptions. After we agreed upon an out the door price and I sent a deposit, they then called to say the price was inaccurate and that someone made a mistake in the price. As you can see from the photos (on facebook and google reviews), someone also posted in the description "PRICED TO MOVE" This 328d xDrive is priced $3200 below J.D. Power Retail.

My only suggestion is when something like a tire needs to be ordered and no loaners are available it is probably best to suggest the customer take their vehicle and return when the tire arrives. I was out almost 4 days without my car if I had not come back on day 3 and picked it up. I took my X7 for a scheduled maintenance at the Southpoint BMW. It was really quick and easy from scheduling and booking the loaner, thanks to April Vanhook, to getting the car serviced and tire changed, thanks to Collins Pendleton. Every step of the way, everyone was efficient, professional and courteous, providing updates so that I didn’t have to wonder. Genius Southpoint BMW technicians / diagnosticians are worth their weight in gold, IMO. Brought in my mature X-5 for: (1) check engine light and (2) a previously baffling undercarriage rattle. I am so grateful that the technician was able to find the well-hidden cause of the rattle and fix it. It took a lot of knowledge and perseverance to do so. My X-5 has a lot of hard (NJ) miles on it so I wanted to be sure there wasn't a really bad problem lurking (thankfully there wasn't).
