It provides advanced access to music, navigation, vehicle information, and more. When you use the BMW ConnectedDrive App on your phone, you will have an unprecedented level of control over your BMW.

BMW ConnectedDrive Updates

Due to ever-evolving smartphone technology, BMW offers firmware updates for the BMW ConnectedDrive system. This allows you to keep up with the latest smartphone releases without worrying about your infotainment options lagging behind. Updating your BMW ConnectedDrive system is simple, just follow these steps:

  1. Visit the BMW accessories update page on your computer.
  2. Connect your computer to your vehicle using the BMW adapter cable.
  3. Select the update needed and download it.
  4. Open the app and follow the instructions to finish the update.
