BMW iX vs. Tesla Model X: Range & Charging

One of the most important factors in any EV purchase is range. The BMW iX comes standard with a CCS connector, the most common EV charging connector in the country, making it easy to drive long distances and top up at nearly any DC Fast Charger in the United States. The Tesla Model X, on the other hand, is only compatible with the Tesla Supercharger connectors and requires additional equipment to charge at the majority of EV charging stations around Chapel Hill.
